Saya mencoba melakukan instalasi aplikasi database postgresql versi 9.6.3 di laptop saya yang memiliki OS Windows 8.1 \u00a0namun saat saya menjalankan file installernya ternyata muncul pesan error berikut :<\/p>\n

Hal selanjutnya yang saya lakukan adalah melakukan pengecekan error log dari kejadian ini yang dapat kita temukan di :
\nC:\\Users\\[user logon anda]\\AppData\\Local\\Temp<\/strong> kemudian cari file \u201cbitrock_installer.log\u201d<\/strong> . Ketika saya buka file tersebut ternyata ditemukan error sebagai berikut :<\/p>\n

Windows script host adalah fitur dari sistem operasi Anda yang, bila dinonaktifkan, dapat mencegah beberapa aplikasi Anda berjalan. Berarti dari pesan diatas ternyata untuk melakukan instalasi postgre, fitur Windows Script Host harus diaktifkan<\/p>\n

Namun dari beberapa kasus, setelah mengaktifkan dari registry Editor dan melakukan restart computer, maka nilai Registry yang sudah di ubah akan kembali ke semula.<\/p>\n

Berarti ada penyebab yang lain. Dalam kasus di computer saya ternyata penyebabnya adalah antivirus yang saya gunakan itu secara default akan memblock aktivitas yang menjalankan aplikasi berekstensi vbs.<\/p>\n

Saya menggunakan antivirus SMADAV<\/strong>, dan ternyata aplikasi ini akan memblock aktivitas yang akan menjalankan file-file berkekstensi .vbs.
\nUntuk men disabled kan nya adalah sebagai berikut :<\/p>\n

  1. Klik kanan pada logo smadav yang ada di taskbar<\/li>\n
  2. \"\"<\/li>\n
  3. Setelah itu disabledkan Windows script yang ter block oleh SMADAV<\/li>\n
  4. Setelah itu mulai lanjutkan instalasi postgre<\/li>\n
  5. Instalasi selanjutnya akan berjalan normal kembali.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
